Green Dot Money Cards

So I had a need to get a debit card at CVS, which I have done in the past.

This time however the card needed to be confirmed.

Weeeellll, o.k., a pain, but I made the call.

The level of information they claimed was federally required was stunning.

When I finally got an operator on the line I asked where she was and where the company was located.

She was in the Pillipines, the company HQ?

Correction: it is Monrovia, Ca, not Liberia, my mistake, the operator did not correct me. I will leave the below so as not appear to whitewash my mistakes. The scams are rife, however. Don't use them.

( NOT: MONROVIA AFRICA!!!! Please see above. Monrovia California affluent U.S. municipality. Scam notice still applies. Seems like a less than ideal Corporate letterhead to me none the less. Better Business Bureau advisories are easy to find.)

Sure, give Africa your social security number!!

Well it turns out to be linked to scamming, go figure. They will cut you a check or have 10 million if you just kick out a little.

WTF CVS!!!!

Will email CVS, it's the only Mastercard/Visa they have, go Amex giftcard or go elsewhere, whatever you do...Don't take my word, go look, you can start here:
