They are not Really Americans any Longer

If you can say "The possibility that I am doing an ordinary thing done by many ordinary Americans at all times seems not to have occurred to them" then they must identify along other lines.

City Journal also has a book review, and another.

Obama: Post-Masculine? I could think of another "P" word for him.

Phony.

And another, but I digress.

Go read City Journal.

Both sides of the aisle are really out for themselves, those on the left are just better at packaging their bullshit for mass consumption.Obama will change everything!, Bush stole the election, War for oil! it's a feast for the naive.Yes,I agree we need change. It is unfortunate that what these two candidates stand for is far too similar. One comes in better packaging, and one will be the safer bet for our national security. We have to take baby steps and vote for the lesser of two evils(yet again).Real change cannot come overnight as this huckster would have you believe.Someday.Wake me when this nightmare is over.

Wow!, That was really rude Alfred. MC, you might want to delete that one (that wouldn't go over well with your coworkers).

I love discourse and deleted Alfred's comment. I regret having deleted it, we must understand our differences and not pretend there is some memory hole someplace where hate can be consigned.

I apologize Alfred, but shouldn't you, Alfred, apologize to the children who will inherit our smug bigotry.

My Martian Gramma weeps...weeps and wipes up the snot of her sorrow with her patchwork diversity quilt stitched with genuine wisdom...

I'm getting a little misty...

Carry on.
