Lincoln Spruce

Towering over the lovely marriage reception was a stunning and compelling tree. It was planted on the day Abraham Lincoln was assassinated and is known as the "Lincoln Spruce."

It is gorgeous. Sadly Pat's camera had some SD card snafus and many striking images were lost, but these will do. The shadow caster lost about 80 feet to a lightning strike years years ago, from what I was fortunate enough to hear.
