I have enjoyed Colony, I heard the late National Review scion was a regular. I have heard that Bruce Park Grill in Greenwich is good. Always worth trying something new...
Felt odd and then checked, using the word "scion" was completely wrong, that man started National Review and kept much water from spilling over the gunwales of Liberty's ship...:)er, not Liberty Ship...uh oh, I will have to double check all of that also...it is safe to say that the word "scion" should be replaced with something far more poetic and accurate...
I agree with Adam -- Modern and Bar are both very good. I've never been to Sally's or Bruce Park Grill. I don't like Pepe's at all, in either location.
I haven't been to Colony in forever... I'd like to pay a visit sometime soon.
I also like Julian's in on Madison Avenue in Bridgeport, and Roseland Apizza in Derby does a nice pie, too.

I'll take Colony Inn in Stamford over some trendy SONO place
I like Modern Pizza in the Elm City best. Sally's and Bar (believe it or not) are also very good. Peppy's is overwrought.

No, I haven't been there... when are we going?
