The basics are clear, that he does not care about the constitution as his supporters also do not. They even believe that the SCOTUS justices should not use the constitution to arrive at their decisions. (While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama’s supporters agree.)

So a right to bear arms may be there, but the point is to eliminate it while denying the circumvention.

Here we see an interesting tactic of buying a scholarly journal with the intent to have it feed into the SCOTUS briefings while stamping out opposing opinion.

Higher Ed, where BHO was a professor of constitutional law, is controlled by those who can't defend their ideas, don't want to, and have overwhelmed the ranks to the extent that they need not.
