It would seem that others have become agitated over the media's posture as well, that via the great Canadian site Small Dead Animals.
Someone at work mentioned the anecdote about McCain calling his wife a foul term and "why didn't that get more attention?"
I responded with something in the manner of "That is disturbing. You mean the Naval carrier pilot and war vet who spent 5 and a half years having his ass kicked and ended up permanently maimed in a Vietnamese POW camp can speak up a blue streak? That is not just disturbing, but quite a surprise."
My delivery was unappreciated.
I have profound disagreements with McCain policy but sheesh...
