Copy and Paste Journalism

The subject has come up recently. This blogpost mentions this piece regarding "Press Releases" going to print.

The more that arrives ready to print the longer your lunch, and it must really make cherry picking the topics and driving the "angle" and propaganda convenient.

Here is something current along these lines from Boingboing, "Seriously, CNN should just cite NRF as the author of the story."
