Heat Up the Tar

I'm serious get the feathers, fire up the torches and get me an axe handle or a pitchfork we need a good old fashioned peasant mob to sweep out the worthless bums, though I am honestly more interested in instilling a fearful awe in the minds of editors viz a viz their constituencies:

US elected officials scored abysmally on a test measuring their civic knowledge, with an average grade of just 44 percent, the group that organized the exam said Thursday.

Ordinary citizens did not fare much better, scoring just 49 percent correct on the 33 exam questions compiled by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI).
