I was told that my father's uncle was visiting from Halifax when he learned of the explosion.
It was indicated he lost family and all.
Hmmmm...I need to look up more on Black Tom, and will...some of it does not seem to dovetail with my previous understanding (of FBI origins and the Statue of Liberty etc.)...will enjoy looking.
